Stan W. Converse III
Stan W. Converse III is responsible for acquisition due diligence, business development, marketing, asset management, construction management and real estate brokerage operations for CedarHouse Partners. As a result of his diverse experience in real estate and construction, he brings an insightful and practical approach to expand possibilities and gain results in various real estate transactions.

From 1999 to 2001 Converse worked as a construction manager in Atlanta, Georgia at John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods (www.jwhomes.com), a leading residential builder based in the southeastern U.S. that builds speculative, custom and semi-custom homes in Atlanta, Georgia; Nashville, Tennessee; Charleston, South Carolina; Raleigh, North Carolina and Charlotte, North Carolina. Since 1970, John Wieland Homes has constructed over 25,000 residences in the markets they serve.  

From 2002 to 2004 he was employed as a marketing representative in Spokane, Washington by Crown West Realty(www.crownwest.com), with multiple responsibilities including securing industrial, flex and office tenants at the Spokane Business and Industrial Park (www.thepark.biz). During his time with Crown West he secured approximately 175,000 square feet in new lease deals and renewals as a part of a team that secured approximately 1M square feet of new lease deals and renewals. 

From 2004 to 2007 Converse worked as a sales executive in Bigfork, Montana at Glacier Sotheby’s International Realty (www.glaciersothebysrealty.com) assisting as an initial team member in the launch and opening of the new Sotheby’s brokerage office in that location. During his time with Sotheby’s he personally secured over $25M in real estate sales and was responsible for securing approximately $35M in listings.

In 2007 Stan was recruited to be a sales and development manager in Bigfork, Montana for the Saddlehorn Community (www.saddlehorn.com) as an initial team member and a part of the development launch team for the 800 acre master-planned community. During this time his sales team out-performed sales at other comparable mountain communities during the real estate and economic downturn.

In 2009, he co-founded Cedar House Partners, which was conceived as an investment vehicle for resort-based real estate. However, in response to inquiries from banks, investors and other property owners in North America, Europe and South America the firm also offers real estate advisory services. His experience includes investment, consulting, sales management, and asset & construction management across multiple property types.

Stan is a licensed broker in the State of Montana and holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Western Carolina University. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the United States Green Building Council, the Northwest Montana Association of Realtors and is currently pursuing his CCIM designation along with a Master’s Degree in Real Estate & Construction Management from the University of Denver Burns School, Daniels College of Business. Stan is actively involved as a volunteer with several organizations that support the betterment of life in the community in which he and his family lives.
